Requirements

• WordPress 6.9 or later
• WooCommerce 10.8 or later
• PHP 8.2 or later
• A WooCommerce store with products configured
• Completed orders are recommended for automatic market-basket recommendations
• Product cost data is required for margin protection to cap discounts
• For post-purchase direct order updates, pay-later or offline gateways are supported by default; prepaid flows may redirect through checkout unless extended by filters

Instructions

1. Install the plugin ZIP from WordPress admin > Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Open Smart Upsell from the WordPress admin menu.
4. Enable Frequently Bought Together and choose automatic, manual or hybrid recommendations.
5. Run Recompute recommendations from the dashboard or Recommendation Engine tab.
6. Configure order bumps, product add-ons, post-purchase offers or next-order coupons as needed.
7. Use Campaigns to target offers by product, category, cart condition, schedule and priority.
8. Review Analytics after shoppers start seeing offers.
9. Install future updates manually by uploading the newer plugin ZIP and replacing the current version.
10. Read the included documentation for shortcode, block, privacy, uninstall and developer hook details.
