These Author Terms apply to everyone who adds products to code.market. They are part of our Terms & Conditions. There are three ways to add a product, and each has its own section below: sell it on code.market as an author (sections 1–13), add it to the home page (section 14), or add it to the daily newsletter (section 15).
1. Becoming an author
1.1. Anyone can become an author by creating a code.market account and starting at Agentic Income. One person or company per account.
1.2. To sell paid products, you connect a payout account with Stripe and complete its identity checks. Free products can be published without it.
1.3. You are responsible for everything published from your account, including by your AI agent, and for keeping your contact and payout details current.
2. Your products
2.1. You can sell skills, templates, apps, source code, libraries, courses, and MCP servers.
2.2. You add a product yourself, publish it with your AI agent through the code.market MCP, or import it from GitHub by connecting your personal GitHub account (the default branch of the repository is packaged, up to 50 MB).
2.3. Every product except a skill has a live demo that opens directly and can be shown in a frame on code.market. Documentation is in English. The icon is 512 × 512 px and the cover 1200 × 630 px.
2.4. When you change your product, you publish it again. Buyers keep the version they bought.
3. Product review and quality
3.1. Products are checked when they are published and over time: links, demos, images, and descriptions.
3.2. A product works as described, installs from its documentation, and contains no malware, hidden tracking, obfuscated code, or secrets such as passwords and API keys.
3.3. Restricted products are not accepted: gambling, betting, casino, and lottery; adult content and dating; cryptocurrency, trading, investment, lending, and "earning" schemes; weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and vaping; fake engagement and spam tools. Products found in these categories are hidden.
3.4. We may hide or reject a product that does not meet these terms, and tell you why where we can.
4. Licensing your products
4.1. You keep the ownership of your product. By selling it on code.market you grant each buyer a license to use it as described on the product page.
4.2. Code and assets you include from others are under licenses that allow commercial use, and their licenses are included.
4.3. You grant code.market the right to host, copy, show, and deliver your product, its name, images, demo, and description, as needed to list, promote, and sell it.
5. Support
5.1. Say on the product page how buyers get support and what it covers, and answer the way you promise.
5.2. Keep your product working on the versions you list. The date of the last update is shown on the product.
6. Pricing
6.1. You set the price: free, a one-time price, or a subscription (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly). One price per product.
6.2. A paid price is at least $0.50. The price shown on code.market is the price the buyer pays before VAT.
7. Fees and payments
7.1. You keep 90% of every sale. code.market keeps 10% of each payment as its service fee.
7.2. You are the seller. Buyers pay through Stripe into your connected account, and code.market's fee is taken from each payment. Payouts follow your Stripe account's schedule.
7.3. Buyers in the EU pay VAT on top of the price; code.market declares and pays it. Buyers outside the EU pay no VAT. You are responsible for your own income taxes.
8. Refunds
8.1. Within 14 days of a payment, a buyer can get a refund at once from their purchase page.
8.2. After 14 days, the buyer asks you; you have 3 days to answer. If you decline or do not answer, code.market decides.
8.3. A refund returns the whole payment, including code.market's fee, and is paid from your balance. A refunded subscription ends at once; one the buyer cancels stays active until the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy.
9. Non-exclusivity
9.1. Selling on code.market is non-exclusive: you can sell the same product elsewhere.
9.2. Keep the price and the description on code.market honest compared with what you offer elsewhere.
10. Promotion
10.1. code.market may feature your product on the home page, in categories, in emails, and on social media, and use its name, images, and description to do so.
10.2. Products rank by their quality: a working demo, images and a full description, demand, ratings, and recent updates. Rankings cannot be bought, except the paid placements described in section 14.
10.3. No fake reviews, ratings, votes, saves, or clicks, and no paying or asking others for them.
11. Rights and warranties
11.1. You confirm that you made the product or have the right to sell it, that it does not infringe anyone's rights, and that it matches its description.
11.2. No copies, reskins, or "nulled" versions of other products, and no names or trademarks of other products. Infringing content is removed under our DMCA process.
11.3. You will cover code.market against claims caused by your product or by a breach of these terms.
12. Removal and account closing
12.1. You can unpublish your product at any time; buyers keep access to what they bought.
12.2. We may hide a product or close an account that breaks these terms. Repeated or serious breaks close the account; products from blocked accounts are not published.
13. Liability and changes
13.1. code.market provides the platform as it is. Our liability is limited as set out in the Terms & Conditions.
13.2. We may update these terms; the date above shows the last change. Continuing to sell after a change means you accept it.
14. Add a product to the home page
14.1. Free. Sign in and paste the link to your product in the dashboard. It gets a page on code.market, appears in its categories, and on the home page in the week it was added. Buyers go to your website or marketplace page to buy it.
14.2. Import from a marketplace. A link to your item on ThemeForest, CodeCanyon, GraphicRiver, VideoHive, AudioJungle, 3DOcean, PhotoDune, Creative Market, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Payhip, TemplateMonster, Webflow, or v0 is imported with its description and images for you to check.
14.3. Ownership. A product on your own website is published after you verify that the website is yours: with our widget on the site, or with an email sent from an address on its domain.
14.4. Required: a title, a link to the product itself, a description, a square icon of at least 512 × 512 px, a product image, and up to 5 categories. The price you set is shown on the listing. A Live Preview is shown when your demo can be framed on code.market.
14.5. Links to listed products are marked as sponsored; the product holding #1 of the current week gets a followed link while it stays #1.
14.6. Week TOP #1 (optional, paid). A one-time payment places your product in the ranking of the current or the next week. Bids are whole dollars, each new top bid is at least $1 above the current one, and one amount can be taken only once; the higher bid ranks higher, and an earlier payment wins a tie. The top 3 of the week also appear in the daily newsletter for the rest of that week.
14.7. Weekly auto-entry (optional, paid). When you join it, your saved card is charged every Monday for your start amount (from $1) and the product enters that week's ranking. To stop it, write to support@code.market.
15. Add a product to the newsletter
15.1. Free. Sign in and fill in the newsletter form: the product name (up to 5 words), a short description (up to 15 words; the email shows the first 10), the link, a category, and optionally your X handle. The product appears in one of our daily emails of 10 products, sent to subscribers who chose to receive it.
15.2. Free places are on weekdays, starting tomorrow. Saturdays, Sundays, and the first and last day of each month are for paid places.
15.3. One free place per account at a time. Your next product gets a free place once the waiting one has been sent.
15.4. The same link can wait in the queue only once, and can be added again 24 hours after it was sent. Sites are checked every day while they wait; a site that is down twice, redirects to another domain, or is parked or for sale leaves the queue.
15.5. Skip the line (optional, paid). A one-time payment of $19 puts the product on the earliest open day, weekends included. Special offers in the dashboard may cost less.
15.6. The email shows each product's domain, short description, and link, in mixed order; the week's top 3 are marked. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
