Voyara - Travel and Hotel WordPress Theme

A WordPress theme for travel businesses that also run their own place to stay: travel agencies, tour operators, small-group tour companies, travel designers, boutique hotels, resorts, villas, hostels, glamping sites and retreats. A warm "postcard and passport" design with postmark stamps, ticket cards, dashed routes, polaroids and handwritten notes, and every section of it is an Elementor widget you can edit, move and reuse.

Built on Bootstrap 5.3.8 with plain JavaScript. Works with the free Elementor; no Elementor Pro needed.

One click imports the whole demo, offline: 87 pages, menus, tours, destinations, partner hotels, rooms, travel experts, traveller reviews, jobs, journal posts, shop products, widgets and settings. You can also import a single page.

Good to know

• Demo photos are not included. The online demo uses photos from Unsplash and videos from Pexels. The download uses placeholder artwork, ready to be replaced in the Media Library; the demo import can optionally download the online demo photos and videos.
• Bookings are requests, not payments. The tour booking, hotel stay and trip planner forms e-mail a request to you; they do not check availability, reserve seats or rooms, or take payments. To sell online, connect a booking engine and a payment provider, or sell tours as WooCommerce products.
• The currency switcher shows prices in USD, EUR or GBP with fixed sample rates you can change; checkout stays in your shop currency. Departure dates, seats left and prices show what you enter.
• The traveller account, booking details and printable documents are layouts with sample data, labelled as demos.
• All company names, people, figures and reviews in the sample content are fictional.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.5 or newer (tested with 7.1.3), PHP 7.4 or newer (tested with PHP 8)
• PHP memory limit of 256 MB recommended for Elementor
• Elementor (free version, tested with 4.3.5) for the page layouts; installed from the theme's setup screen
• Optional: WooCommerce (tested with 11.2.1) for the shop, Contact Form 7, WPML or Polylang
• Upload limit of at least 16 MB on the server for voyara.zip, which is about 12 MB with Voyara Core inside (or upload the theme folder by FTP)
• Tested in a current version of Google Chrome
• For real bookings and payments: your own booking engine or payment provider. The theme's booking forms send requests by e-mail

Instructions

1. Unzip the download. Do not upload the whole folder to WordPress; the theme is voyara.zip inside it.
2. In WordPress go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme, upload voyara.zip and activate it.
3. The Voyara setup screen opens. Click Install and Activate for Voyara Core and Elementor (and WooCommerce if you want the shop).
4. Go to Appearance > Import Demo and click Import demo. It works offline. Tick "Real demo photos and videos" if you want the photos of the online demo. You can also import a single page, or remove the demo content later.
5. Pick your home page in Settings > Reading, add your logo in Appearance > Customize > Site Identity, then set your agency details, colour skin, header, footer and currency switcher in Voyara theme options.
6. Edit any page with Elementor: every section is a Voyara widget. The library button in the editor opens the block library. Replace the demo images in the Media Library.
7. Add your tours, destinations, hotels, rooms and travel experts in the WordPress menu. Forms send to the site's admin e-mail by default; add your reCAPTCHA and Mailchimp keys in Appearance > Customize > Voyara theme options > Forms & spam.
8. Booking forms send a request by e-mail; they do not take payments or check availability. Connect your own booking engine or payment provider if you need that.
9. Optional: upload voyara-child.zip and activate the child theme if you want to change the theme's code.
