VoiceDesk AI - Voice Note Support Desk

VoiceDesk AI is a Laravel 12 support desk for teams that receive WhatsApp-style customer voice notes and need organized conversations, tickets, transcripts, summaries, priorities, and human-reviewed reply drafts.

The product includes a safe demo mode with simulated voice-note data and mock AI responses, so reviewers and buyers can test the core workflow without paid provider credentials. Live WhatsApp and OpenAI usage requires buyer-owned provider credentials and setup.

Core workflow:

- Simulate or receive a WhatsApp-style voice-note support request.

- Create or reuse a customer and conversation record.

- Generate a transcript, AI summary, priority, category, sentiment, and suggested reply.

- Create a ticket connected to the conversation.

- Let a human support agent review the AI output before replying.

Demo mode uses simulated data and mock AI responses. It does not send real WhatsApp messages or call paid AI APIs.

Live WhatsApp usage requires buyer-owned WhatsApp Cloud API configuration, including access token, phone number ID, and webhook verify token. Live AI usage requires a buyer-owned OpenAI API key and model configuration. The product does not include third-party provider accounts, billing, approval, or guarantees.

Requirements

- PHP 8.2 or higher.

- Laravel 12 compatible hosting.

- Composer.

- Node.js and npm for asset builds.

- SQLite for local demo usage, or MySQL/MariaDB for production deployment.

- HTTPS is recommended for production and required for real webhook usage.

- Buyer-owned WhatsApp Cloud API credentials are required for live WhatsApp workflows.

- Buyer-owned OpenAI API credentials are required for live AI processing.

Instructions

1. Upload the Laravel source files to a compatible PHP hosting/server.

2. Install Composer and Node dependencies.

3. Create and configure the .env file from the documented example.

4. Run Laravel key generation and database migrations/seeders.

5. Build frontend assets with Vite.

6. Point the web server document root to the public/ directory.

7. Configure queues, storage link, SSL, and provider credentials as needed.

8. Use demo mode first to verify the workflow before enabling live providers.
