Description

TrueLang – WordPress Translation Plugin with Instant Language Switching & SEO URLs

TrueLang is a premium WordPress translation workspace built around the final rendered page. It automatically discovers visitor-facing strings from completed HTML, stores translations inside WordPress, serves SEO-friendly language URLs, supports RTL layouts, and lets visitors switch languages without reloading the page.

Instead of duplicating pages or rebuilding templates for every language, TrueLang works with the output your website already produces—including theme content, blocks, forms, metadata, accessibility labels, page-builder output, and dynamic frontend markup.

Why choose TrueLang?

  • Final rendered HTML discovery—no separate crawler workflow required
  • Instant JavaScript language switching without a full page refresh
  • Server-rendered language URLs for direct visits and non-JavaScript fallback
  • Persistent WordPress database caching to reduce repeat translation requests
  • Automatic translation requests send only missing strings
  • SEO-friendly language-prefixed URLs, `hreflang`, and `x-default
  • RTL/LTR direction handling and synchronized History API URLs
  • Manual translation editor with search, save, add, delete, import, and export tools
  • Language-specific typography, logos, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Translation coverage analytics, runtime health, and activity tracking
  • Shortcode, PHP, JavaScript API, and Elementor language-switcher support
  • Verified managed updates with staging, backup, validation, and rollback

One workspace for every website language

TrueLang provides a focused admin interface inside WordPress where administrators can manage enabled languages, translation progress, missing strings, automatic translation, typography, language-specific branding, custom assets, SEO behavior, caching, diagnostics, and updates.

The dashboard presents the information that matters most:

  • Total discovered source strings
  • Translated and missing entries
  • Overall completion percentage
  • Per-language progress
  • Translation-service readiness
  • Runtime and activity status

Translate the final page—not just database content

WordPress websites are assembled from themes, blocks, widgets, plugins, shortcodes, forms, page builders, and dynamic output. TrueLang captures the **completed frontend HTML**, which allows it to identify content visitors actually see.

The runtime can register and translate:

  • Visible text nodes
  • Page titles and SEO metadata
  • Form placeholders and supported attributes
  • Image alternative text
  • Accessibility labels
  • Theme and plugin frontend output
  • Gutenberg and Elementor-rendered content
  • Public WooCommerce routes and rendered product content

TrueLang creates a canonical hash for each source string, checks the local database first, and sends only uncached strings to the configured translation service. Returned translations are persisted for future requests.

Instant switching with synchronized URLs and direction

Visitors can change languages without waiting for a complete page reload. TrueLang retrieves the current page’s registered translations through the WordPress REST API, updates the existing DOM, changes RTL/LTR direction, and synchronizes the language-prefixed URL through the History API.

Direct visits to translated URLs are rendered server-side, providing:

  • Complete translated HTML on entry
  • Language-specific metadata
  • Non-JavaScript fallback links
  • Back and forward navigation support
  • Language-prefixed routes such as `/ar/`, `/es/`, or `/fr/`
  • Optional `hreflang` and `x-default` output

Flexible translation management

Use automatic translation for speed and manual editing for brand-critical language.

The translation workspace includes:

  • Search across source strings and translations
  • Language filtering and pagination
  • Inline translation editing
  • Automatic translation for untranslated strings
  • Add custom text strings manually
  • Delete a source string and connected translations
  • CSV import and export
  • Unsaved-change indicators and navigation protection
  • AJAX updates without unnecessary page reloads

Language switcher options

Display the switcher through the floating position controls, shortcode, PHP method, Elementor widget, or JavaScript API.

Shortcode

Compact shortcode

PHP

<?php Truelang_Switcher:isplay(); ?>

JavaScript

window.TrueLang.switchLanguage('ar');
window.TrueLang.getCurrentLanguage();
window.TrueLang.refresh();

TrueLang also dispatches `truelang:languageChanged` and `truelang:languageError` browser events for custom integrations.

Language-specific typography, logos, CSS, and JavaScript

Different scripts require different visual treatment. TrueLang lets you refine each enabled language without modifying the active theme.

Typography controls

  • Google Fonts selection
  • Media Library font files
  • CSS font-family overrides
  • Font weights and styles
  • Font size and line height
  • Letter spacing
  • Text transformation
  • Live language-specific preview

Website logos

Assign a different Media Library logo to each language while preserving the active theme layout. TrueLang supports the WordPress Custom Logo API, block themes, and common logo markup used by popular themes and page builders.

Custom assets

Add language-specific CSS or JavaScript for layout corrections, RTL refinements, regional widgets, tracking rules, or custom behavior.

Translation analytics and runtime visibility

TrueLang calculates coverage across every enabled target-language slot instead of treating all translation records as one combined total.

Analytics include:

  • Source-string count
  • Translated and missing slots
  • Overall completion percentage
  • Completion by language
  • Runtime health information
  • Translation and discovery activity history
  • Current plugin and service status

Built for modern WordPress websites

TrueLang is designed around rendered WordPress output and includes compatibility handling for:

  • WordPress themes and public routes
  • Gutenberg blocks and block themes
  • Elementor-rendered content and language-switcher widget
  • WooCommerce public pages and routes
  • Classic and custom permalink structures
  • RTL and LTR languages
  • WordPress REST API
  • Browser History API

Compatibility can vary when another plugin replaces frontend HTML after page load, blocks REST requests, aggressively caches personalized output, or uses cross-origin frames. Test the live preview with your exact stack before purchase.

Verified managed updates

TrueLang 2.8.0 includes a transactional private-update workflow:

  • License-bound update checks
  • Protected package delivery
  • Product, version, HTTP-response, and SHA-256 verification
  • ZIP-path, symlink, root-folder, plugin-header, and required-file inspection
  • Private staging under `wp-content`
  • Verified pre-update backup
  • WordPress Filesystem installation
  • Installed-version and critical-file validation
  • Automatic rollback when installation validation fails
  • Manual update checks and installation controls
  • Optional twice-daily automatic installation

The active plugin directory is not recursively deleted during the managed update process.

Important translation-service and privacy notice

Automatic translation requires an active connection to the configured TrueLang managed translationservice. When automatic translation is used, TrueLang may transmit missing source strings, the selected target language, site URL or site hash, plugin version, product identifier, and license metadata required to process and meter the request. Existing cached translations remain in the WordPress database and are reused whenever possible.

Service availability, translation allowance, license activation, and any recurring usage terms must be reviewed before purchase. Administrators should also review their privacy obligations before sending website content to an externaltranslation service.
