Tillora is a self-hosted point of sale and inventory platform for running your own POS SaaS. It is one Laravel 13 application: the REST API and the built-in web app (landing page, tenant sign-up, admin panel and POS register, built with Next.js and Ant Design) run on the same domain. The web app comes prebuilt and vendor/ is included, so installing is: upload, open /install, done. No Node.js and no Composer needed. Use it for one shop, a multi-store chain, or sell it as a subscription service to other businesses with tenants, plans and invoicing built in.

Limitations

• Printers and cash drawers use the browser print dialog (no native driver)
• Stripe and PayPal only, one payment per invoice: no saved cards, no automatic recurring charges
• The POS records card payments taken on your external card terminal
• The register needs a connection to the server (the sync API queues and retries, but it is not a full offline mode)

Requirements

• PHP 8.3 or newer with pdo_mysql, mbstring, openssl, tokenizer, xml, ctype, json, bcmath, fileinfo, gd, curl, dom, iconv, zip
• MySQL 8.0+ or MariaDB 10.6+
• Apache / LiteSpeed (cPanel shared hosting works, .htaccess included) or Nginx
• HTTPS recommended (required for live Stripe/PayPal webhooks)
• A cron entry for the Laravel scheduler (runs every minute)
• Node.js 20+ only if you want to change the web app source

Instructions

1. Create a MySQL/MariaDB database and a user with all privileges on it.
2. Upload the contents of the Tillora/ folder to your domain or subdomain root (keep the hidden .htaccess file). Pointing the document root to public/ is recommended but optional.
3. Open https://your-domain/install and follow the web installer: requirements check, database, application settings and your Super Admin account. Tick "Install demo data" if you want sample data.
4. Add the cron job: * * * * * cd /path/to/tillora && php artisan schedule:run >> /dev/null 2>&1
5. Sign in as Super Admin, set your platform name, logo, support email, mail settings and (optionally) Stripe/PayPal keys under Platform Settings.
6. Create plans and tenants, or let businesses sign up from the landing page.
