Installation and Usage Instructions

Step 1: Download and Extract

Download the ZIP package and extract it to a folder on your computer.

Step 2: Open the Project

Open the extracted project folder in Visual Studio Code or your preferred code editor.

Step 3: Preview the Website

Open the main index.html file in a modern web browser to view the website. For the best development experience, use a local server such as the Live Server extension in Visual Studio Code.

Step 4: Customize Website Content

Edit the HTML files to change page text, headings, navigation links, and other content.

Step 5: Customize Products

Open the relevant JavaScript product data files, including products.js, to update product names, prices, descriptions, and other product information while preserving the existing data structure.

Step 6: Customize Images

Replace the existing product and banner images with your own images that you have permission to use. Keep file names and folder paths consistent, or update the corresponding references in the code.

Step 7: Customize the Design

Step 9: Understand Browser Storage

The template uses browser storage for demonstration data, including cart information, customer details, and orders. This information is not a secure, server-based database and may be limited to the browser and device being used.

Step 10: Deploy the Website

Upload the customized website files to a compatible web hosting service that supports static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript websites. Configure the domain and hosting settings as required.
