Description

RushBuy is a self-hosted, multi-tenant ecommerce application built with Next.js. Merchants can manage storefronts, products and orders, while a central administration panel manages tenants, subscription plans, themes and payment settings. Installation and configuration documentation is included.

Requirements

- Linux VPS (Ubuntu 22.04 or newer recommended) - Node.js 18 or newer (20 LTS recommended), npm 9+ or Bun 1.1+ - 1 GB RAM minimum (2 GB recommended), 5 GB disk - SQLite (default) or PostgreSQL 14+ - A domain with DNS access for subdomain storefronts (wildcard   *.yourdomain.com record); custom domains need standard CNAME/A records - Recommended: nginx reverse proxy with free SSL from certbo

Instructions

1. Upload the source to your VPS and install Node.js 20 LTS. 2. Run npm install, then copy .env.example to .env and set    DATABASE_URL and SESSION_SECRET. 3. Run npm run build, then npm start (port 3000; keep it alive with    PM2 or systemd). 4. Open and complete the 3-step    wizard; optionally load demo accounts and sample data. 5. Sign in, configure branding, payment gateways and email. Optional:    add nginx with SSL and the wildcard DNS record for subdomains.
