QuoteFlow - WooCommerce Quote Button

Custom pricing, made-to-order items, and B2B bulk orders don't fit a fixed Add to Cart price. Most "request a quote" plugins either bolt on a separate quote-cart system a store doesn't need, or require a whole suite subscription. QuoteFlow does exactly the one thing a lot of stores actually need: hide the price, collect the enquiry, respond with a number, nothing more.

A single checkbox on any product - "Request a quote only" - removes Add to Cart everywhere that product appears (shop loop, single product page, cross-sells), using WooCommerce's own purchasability filter, the same mechanism WooCommerce itself uses for out-of-stock products. In its place, a clean quote request form collects name, email, quantity, and a message; a rejected submission keeps what the customer typed instead of clearing the form.

An admin inbox with real search and pagination, filterable by pending or responded, links into a detail view with the full message, so it stays usable once requests pile up rather than only on a demo-sized handful - and it's mobile-friendly, with no collapsed or overlapping columns when triaging quotes from a phone. Responding with a price and a note sends the customer a genuine branded HTML email matching the plugin's own teal/amber identity, not a bare plain-text message. QuoteFlow ends at "the customer has a quoted price in their inbox" - closing the sale happens outside the plugin, which is how most B2B quote-based businesses already work. If WooCommerce isn't active, QuoteFlow fails safe with a clear admin notice instead of a broken product page.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0 or later. WooCommerce must be installed and active - QuoteFlow is a WooCommerce extension and does nothing without it (it shows a clear admin notice, not a broken product page, if WooCommerce is missing). PHP 8.0 or later.

Instructions

1. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active first - QuoteFlow is a WooCommerce extension and requires it as a parent plugin. 2. Upload the `quoteflow` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or upload the zip via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. 3. Activate QuoteFlow. 4. Edit any product, check "Request a quote only" under Product Data > General, and update the product. 5. Add to Cart disappears everywhere for that product (shop loop, single product page, cross-sells); a quote request form (name, email, quantity, message) takes its place. 6. Check the QuoteFlow admin menu to see every request, filterable by pending or responded. 7. Open a request to see the full message and respond with a price and a note - the customer is emailed automatically with a branded HTML quote.

Note: QuoteFlow ends at "the customer has a quoted price in their inbox" - closing the sale (an invoice, a manually created order, a phone call) happens outside the plugin.

WP admin: `admin` / `DemoAdmin2026!` for the quote-request inbox. Also browse the shop - several products are quote-only and show a "Request a quote" form instead of Add to Cart.
