Requirements

PHP 8.1 or higher MySQL 5.7+ / MariaDB 10.3+ PDO MySQL, cURL, mbstring, JSON, OpenSSL PHP extensions A Stripe account (for subscription billing) Server cron access recommended (or use the built-in token-protected web endpoint with any third-party cron-ping service if your host doesn't offer real cron)

Instructions

INSTALLATION 1. Upload all files to your hosting account (or a subdomain/folder). 2. Visit your domain in a browser — you'll be redirected to the installer automatically. 3. Step 1: the installer checks server requirements — make sure all show "Pass". 4. Step 2: enter your MySQL database details. The database and tables are created automatically. 5. Step 3: create your admin account. 6. Step 4: installation complete! For security, delete or rename the /install folder.

FIRST-TIME SETUP (as admin) 7. Log in — admins are redirected straight to the admin panel. 8. Go to Admin → Settings and enter your Stripe API keys. Set your webhook endpoint in Stripe to: yourdomain.com/webhook/stripe 9. Go to Admin → Plans to review/adjust pricing tiers and their Stripe Price IDs. 10. Set up monitor checking — either add a real server cron job:     * * * * * php /path/to/pulsely/cron/check_monitors.php     ...or, if your host doesn't offer cron access, copy the secret token shown in Admin → Settings and point any third-party "cron job" ping service at: yourdomain.com/cron/run?token=YOUR_TOKEN 11. (Optional) Go to Admin → Language to add or edit additional languages — no coding required.

CUSTOMER USAGE 12. Customers sign up, choose a plan, and add monitors (websites or TCP services) to watch. 13. Pulsely checks each monitor on its schedule and alerts the customer the instant something goes down, with full uptime/incident history in their dashboard.
