Petalia - Flower Shop and Bouquet Delivery

Petalia is a complete website and online shop for florists and flower delivery businesses, written in plain PHP 8 and MySQL (no framework, no Composer). One code base gives you an elegant, animated, mobile-first public website, a cart with guest checkout and a full admin back office.

Customers browse bouquets, roses, flower boxes, plants and gifts, choose a size, add a free handwritten card message, pick their delivery area (with its fee) and a delivery date, and can send the flowers to someone else. After the order they follow its progress on a tracking page (order number + phone digits, or private link). The events & weddings page shows your portfolio with videos and collects quote requests; flower care articles and a contact form complete the site.

The admin area includes a dashboard (new orders, deliveries today, monthly sales, visitors), order management with statuses, today's deliveries, search, print and CSV export, products with sizes and photos, categories, delivery zones and fees, messages and quotes, events portfolio, articles, cookie-free visit statistics and all settings. Currency, number format, timezone and an optional WhatsApp number are configurable. The site is fully translated into 9 languages (English, French, Arabic with right-to-left layout, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Turkish, Hindi) and ships with a web installer and optional fictional demo data. All illustrations and videos were generated for this product.

Payment is arranged with the shop. An online payment gateway is not included.

Requirements

• PHP 8.0, 8.1, 8.2 or 8.3 with pdo_mysql and mbstring (gd for image uploads)
• MySQL 5.7+ / 8.0 or MariaDB 10.3+
• Apache or LiteSpeed with .htaccess support (Nginx possible)
• PHP mail() for e-mail notifications (optional)

Instructions

1. Create an empty MySQL / MariaDB database and a database user.
2. Upload the content of the upload/ folder to your hosting (public_html, a sub-folder or a sub-domain).
3. Make config/, storage/, storage/sessions/ and assets/img/uploads/ writable.
4. Open install.php in your browser and fill in the database details, shop name, language, currency, timezone and administrator account; optionally tick the demo data option.
5. Delete install.php after the installation.
6. Sign in to /admin/ and complete the settings, delivery zones, categories and products.
