Requirements

The documented tested environment is MyBB 1.8.41 with PHP 8.3 and MariaDB 10.11. Other versions have not been verified.

The theme uses modern CSS features. The included guide lists Chrome/Edge 111, Safari 16.2 and Firefox 113 as browser minimums; its testing was performed in Chromium.

Instructions

Back up your existing forum and theme. Upload the included jscripts/meridian and images/meridian folders to the MyBB root, preserving paths.

In Admin CP > Templates and Style > Themes, import the supplied theme XML with its templates and stylesheets, then set Meridian as the default theme.

Use the floating customizer to adjust the display. Preferences are stored in each browser by default. Optional server-side member synchronization is documented separately in README.md.

Log in to the MyBB Admin Control Panel (ACP). 3. Navigate to Templates & Style → Themes. 4. Import the provided theme XML file using the available import option. 5. If the package includes additional assets, upload them to the paths specified in the included documentation. 6. Navigate to Templates & Style → Themes and set the imported theme as the default theme, or assign it to the appropriate users. 7. Clear your browser cache and refresh the forum to verify that the theme is displayed correctly.
