LUNA Beauty Suite is a complete, ready-to-deploy management system for beauty salons, spas, hairdressers, nail salons and barbershops, built with Python Flask and SQLite.

• Python 3.9 or higher (3.11 / 3.12 recommended)
• pip (Python package installer)
• Python packages installed automatically from requirements.txt: Flask, Flask-WTF, Flask-SQLAlchemy, Bleach
• SQLite - built into Python, no database server needed

Browser

• Any modern browser: Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari
• JavaScript, cookies and localStorage enabled
• Internet connection for the Tailwind CSS CDN and live exchange rates

• cPanel hosting with "Setup Python App" (Phusion Passenger)

Instructions

Quick Start

1. Extract the ZIP file to any folder.
2. Install the dependencies: pip install -r requirements.txt
3. Start the application: python app.py
4. Open http://localhost:5000 in your browser.

Windows users: double-click runnewpc.bat (first time only), then start.bat.

Demo Logins

• Administrator: admin / admin123 (full access)
• Cashier: cashier / cashier123 (POS only)

Before Going Live

• Change the default passwords from the Users page.
• Set a strong SECRET_KEY environment variable.
• Enable HTTPS and set SESSION_COOKIE_SECURE=true.
