Loopz - Flutter Short Video App

Loopz - Flutter Short Video App with Live Streaming, PK Battles and Admin Panel

Loopz is a complete TikTok-style short video app built with Flutter (one code base for Android and iOS) together with a Laravel 11 API and a full admin panel. You get the full source code of the app and the server, an A to Z setup guide (PDF) for Android and iOS, and design screens. Change settings, ads, gifts and login options from the admin panel without publishing an app update.

Tested and working on both Android and iOS. The app runs on Android phones and on iPhone (Xcode), and the package includes helper scripts (setup.sh, setup_ios.sh, set_ios_google.sh) so the first run on a Mac is simple.

What users get in the app

• Guest mode: the app opens straight on the video feed, login only appears when an action needs an account
• Login with phone number (SMS code), Google, Facebook (Firebase) and email / password
• Feeds: For You, Following, Friends and Top, search, hashtags, sounds, duets
• Camera and video editor: speed, filters, text, stickers, photo slideshows
• Stories (24 hours), comments with replies and likes, reposts, chat with photo, video and voice
• Profile, followers, verification badge request, privacy settings, push notifications

Live streaming (Agora)

• Go LIVE page: title, topic, flip camera, public or private room, ticket price in coins, invite friends, 3-2-1 countdown
• Live room for host and viewers: chat, hearts (double tap), viewer count, host score
• Multi-guest: viewers send a join request, the host accepts or declines, up to 7 guests on stage with live video and sound
• PK battle: host against one of the guests, battle length 1 / 3 / 5 / 10 minutes, 3-2-1 countdown, live score bar, top supporters, WIN / LOSE result and rematch
• Gifts with combo banner and full-screen effects for big gifts, host diamonds and a live summary when the live ends

Coins, gifts and ads

• Coin packs, gifts and video promotion, all editable from the panel
• AdMob: banner, interstitial and rewarded ads, test mode switch
• Stripe keys field for card payments, demo mode for testing

Admin panel (Laravel 11)

• Dashboard, users (ban, coins), videos, reports, sounds, stickers, gifts and coin packs, verification requests, live rooms (force end)
• Settings for app name, legal links, Firebase, login switches, AdMob, Stripe, Agora, push
• One-command installer (install.sh) and a ready .env.example

Please note

• The server must be a VPS (Ubuntu recommended). Shared or cPanel hosting is not supported because videos are processed with ffmpeg.
• You need your own Firebase, Agora and AdMob accounts. Their keys are entered in the admin panel.
• Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase and Sign in with Apple are not included. Add them before you sell coins or publish on the stores.
• PK battle is between the host and one of his guests in the same live room.
• Change the package name / bundle id (com.example.loopz) before your first store upload.

Requirements

SERVER (VPS - required). : The code will not work on Shared hosting

- Ubuntu 24.04 VPS (or 22.04), minimum 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB SSD, root access - Nginx, PHP 8.4 (8.2 or newer works) with sqlite3, mbstring, openssl, curl, fileinfo, zip, xml, gd, Composer - ffmpeg and ffprobe (video compress, thumbnails) - A domain name with HTTPS (free Certbot certificate) - SQLite by default, MariaDB / MySQL optional

APP BUILD - Flutter SDK (stable) and Dart - Android: Android Studio and Android SDK - iOS: a Mac with Xcode and CocoaPods - Google Play Console account ($25 one time) / Apple Developer Program ($99 per year) to publish

Instructions

Full steps with screenshots are in 3_Guides_PDF (Loopz_Android_Setup_Guide.pdf / Loopz_iOS_Setup_Guide.pdf). Short version:

1. Order a VPS, point your domain (A record) to its IP address. 2. Log in with SSH, install Nginx, PHP 8.4, ffmpeg, Composer (the guide has the exact commands). 3. Upload 2_Server_Laravel to /var/www/loopz_backend and run: bash install.sh (asks admin email, password and your https address). 4. Add the Nginx site with root on the public folder, run Certbot for HTTPS, raise the upload limits to 200 MB. 5. Open https://yourdomain.com/login and sign in to the admin panel. 6. In Admin > Settings enter the Firebase, AdMob and Agora keys. 7. Open 1_Flutter_App/lib/config.dart and set baseUrl to https://yourdomain.com/api 8. In the app folder run: bash setup.sh   then   flutter run 9. Change the package name / bundle id and app name, build a release (flutter build appbundle / ipa) and publish.

Live video, multi-guest and PK need the Agora keys and at least two real phones to test.
