  • Web Server: Apache 2.4+ or Nginx with Laravel-compatible URL rewriting.
  • PHP Extensions: BCMath, Ctype, cURL, DOM, Fileinfo, Filter, Hash, Mbstring, OpenSSL, PCRE, PDO, Session, Tokenizer and XML.
  • Database Driver: PDO MySQL extension for a MySQL/MariaDB installation.
  • PHP CLI: Required to run Laravel Artisan setup and database commands.
  • Composer: Composer 2.x for installing or refreshing PHP dependencies when necessary. The supplied ZIP currently includes a vendor directory.
  • File Permissions: Write access to the required Laravel storage directories and bootstrap/cache.
  • Public Storage: Support for creating the Laravel public storage link.
  • Domain Configuration: The website document root must point to the application's public directory.
  • HTTPS: An SSL certificate is recommended for production deployments.
  • Database Permissions: The database user must have sufficient privileges to create and update the application tables.

The production server must satisfy Laravel 12's requirements. Confirm the selected PHP extensions and database version with your hosting provider before installation.

Instructions

Step 1: Download and Extract

  • Download the KDRSA package and extract the ZIP archive on your computer.
  • Locate the Laravel application root containing the artisan file, composer.json, app, bootstrap, config, database, public and routes directories.
  • Back up any existing installation before performing an update.

Step 2: Prepare Your Hosting

  • Make sure your hosting supports PHP 8.2 or higher and Laravel 12.
  • Configure Apache or Nginx for Laravel URL rewriting.
  • Configure the domain's document root to point to the application's public directory.
  • Ensure that the required PHP extensions are enabled.

Step 3: Create a Database

  • Open your hosting control panel.
  • Create a new MySQL database.
  • Create a database user and grant the required privileges.
  • Record the database name, username, password and database host.

Step 4: Configure the Environment

  • Use the sanitized .env.example supplied with the release as the starting point for your .env file.
  • Open .env and configure the application name and URL.
  • Set APP_ENV=production and APP_DEBUG=false for production.
  • Set DB_CONNECTION=mysql.
  • Enter your database host, port, database name, username and password.
  • Configure any required mail or WhatsApp credentials separately.
  • Generate a new application key for a fresh installation.

Step 5: Install PHP Dependencies

  • If the release includes the complete vendor directory, retain it.
  • If dependencies are not included, install Composer 2.x and run: composer install --no-dev --optimize-autoloader
  • Confirm that vendor/autoload.php exists before continuing.

Step 6: Create the Database Tables

  • Open a terminal or SSH session in the Laravel application directory.
  • For a new database, run: php artisan key:generate php artisan migrate --seed###li/li###
  • Use only the database initialization method documented for the final release. If a verified SQL dump is supplied as an alternative, follow its instructions instead.
  • Do not run migrate:fresh against a database containing data you want to preserve.

Step 7: Configure Uploaded Files

  • Create the public storage link by running: php artisan storage:link
  • Confirm that the required Laravel storage directories and bootstrap/cache are writable by the application.
  • Verify that the web server can serve uploaded CMS images through the configured public storage path.

Step 8: Clear Application Caches

Run: php artisan optimize:clear

  • Confirm that the .env settings are correct before enabling production configuration caching.
  • Check the Laravel application logs if an error occurs.

Step 9: Open the Website

  • Visit the configured domain to open the public website.
  • Open /login to access the login page.
  • Open /admin to access the administrative dashboard after signing in with the release's documented administrator account.
  • Open /admin/cms to access the CMS dashboard if your account has the required permissions.

Step 10: Configure the Application

  • Update the company name, logo, contact information, address and website content.
  • Configure the homepage sections, pages and blog content.
  • Review the client, guard, site and assignment records.
  • Configure SMTP settings if email delivery is required.
  • Configure the WhatsApp provider and credentials if WhatsApp messaging is required.

Step 11: Test the Installation

  • Check the homepage and all main navigation links.
  • Test the login and role-based access controls.
  • Create and edit a CMS page.
  • Test supported image uploads and blog management.
  • Test client and guard workflows.
  • Verify database operations, service requests and attendance.
  • Test email or WhatsApp features only after configuring the relevant provider.
  • Check the website on desktop and mobile screens.

Step 12: Secure the Live Installation

  • Use HTTPS.
  • Keep APP_DEBUG=false in production.
  • Change any initial or demonstration passwords.
  • Keep .env, database credentials and API tokens private.
  • Back up the database and application files before upgrades.
