HavenStay is a full-featured hotel booking application built for single-property hotels, B&Bs, and vacation rentals. It provides a complete guest-facing booking website paired with a powerful admin control panel - everything you need to manage reservations, pricing, guests, and content in one system.

Guest Experience Your guests can browse room types, check availability by date, select occupancy (adults + children), and complete a streamlined checkout form. After booking, they receive a confirmation reference and can look up their reservation anytime via the My Bookings page. The frontend is a fast, modern SPA (single-page application) powered by Vue 3, Inertia.js, and Tailwind CSS - fully responsive and customizable.

Powerful Pricing Engine At the core of HavenStay is a sophisticated pricing system. Define seasonal rates with date ranges and weekday masks, create rate plans with tiered nightly pricing rules, set up automatic discounts (percentage or fixed, stackable), issue promo coupons with usage caps and expiration dates, add per-person/per-night fees with min/max clamping, and offer bookable extras like breakfast or airport transfers. A built-in quote tester lets you instantly verify pricing for any date range and occupancy before going live.

Booking Management The admin panel gives you complete control over every reservation. Create new bookings manually, view detailed breakdowns (nightly rates, discounts, fees, extras, totals), transition statuses (pending → confirmed → checked-in → completed → cancelled), record payments, send templated emails, and review a full audit log of every action. Coupon redemptions are tracked per booking with automatic revocation on cancellation.

Availability & Calendar Sync A visual calendar shows occupancy at a glance across all rooms. Manually block dates for maintenance or other reasons. Connect external calendars via iCal URLs the system automatically fetches and syncs availability, creating room blocks for external bookings. Ideal for properties listed on Airbnb, Booking.com, or other OTAs alongside their direct-booking website.

Email Communications Build email templates with placeholder variables (guest name, dates, pricing, property info). Configure event-triggered emails (new reservation, confirmation, cancellation) or scheduled emails (e.g., "thank you" 1 day after check-out). Send emails manually to individual guests or bookings. Every send is logged for audit.

Website Content Management Customize your entire guest-facing website from the admin panel business name, tagline, SEO metadata, social media links, homepage hero and bento grid sections, navigation links, and guest testimonials with avatars. Instructions

Quick Setup:

composer run setup

Manual Setup:

1. Clone or extract the project to your web server directory.
2. Install PHP dependencies:

   composer install --no-dev --optimize-autoloader
           
   

3. Configure the environment:

   cp .env.example .env
   php artisan key:generate
           
   

4. Run database migrations and seeders:

   php artisan migrate --seed --force
           
   

5. Install and build frontend assets:

   npm install
   npm run build
           
   

6. Create the storage symlink:

   php artisan storage:link
           
   

7. Create an admin user:
