Free URL to Text Extractor - Clean Text from Any Web Page

What it does: a visitor pastes the address of a web page and gets the clean readable text of the page as plain text: the main content by default, or every visible text of the page. No menus, headers, footers, sidebars, cookie notices, share buttons, or comments, and no markup at all: no HTML tags, no Markdown symbols, nothing escaped. The result shows the word count, character count (with and without spaces), paragraphs, reading time, and an estimated token count, and the visitor copies the text or downloads it as a .txt file named after the page.

How it differs from URL to Markdown: Markdown keeps the structure with symbols (#, **, link, table pipes). This tool gives only the words, laid out for reading: headings and paragraphs on their own lines, list items with "-" or their number, table rows with tab-separated cells that paste into a spreadsheet, and code with its spacing.
