FoodCourt - Multi-Restaurant Ordering and POS

FoodCourt is a complete PHP/MySQL web application for food courts, food halls and multi-brand kitchens. Several restaurants share one storefront; every restaurant manages its own menu and orders, and each counter gets a fast cash register (POS).

Customers browse all restaurants, build their order with options and extras, choose dine-in, takeaway or delivery, order as a guest or with an account (loyalty points), follow the order live and leave a review. Managers handle their menu, promotions, cashiers, orders and statistics. Cashiers open the register, take payments (cash with automatic change, card, split payments, points), send orders to the kitchen, print tickets and close the day with a Z report.

Written in plain PHP 8 and vanilla JavaScript: no framework, no build step, no Composer. It runs on any shared hosting (cPanel) and installs in two minutes with the web installer, which can also load a complete fictional demo (8 restaurants, menus with photos, accounts, 5 weeks of orders and reviews).

Fully translated into 9 languages (English, French, Arabic RTL, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Turkish, Hindi) with automatic detection and a language selector. Currency, number format and timezone are configurable.

Requirements

• PHP 8.0 to 8.4 with pdo_mysql and mbstring (openssl and curl for push notifications, gd recommended)
• MySQL 5.7+ / 8.x or MariaDB 10.3+
• Apache or Nginx web server (shared hosting / cPanel supported)
• HTTPS recommended (required by browsers for PWA install and push notifications)

Instructions

1. Create an empty MySQL/MariaDB database and a user (cPanel > MySQL Databases).
2. Upload the content of the upload/ folder to your web root or a sub-folder.
3. Open https://your-domain.com/install.php and fill in the database, food court name, language, timezone, currency and super admin account (optionally tick the demo data).
4. Delete install.php after the installation.
5. Log in to /admin/ to manage restaurants and settings, and to /cashier/ for the POS. Full details in documentation/index.html.
