FieldDesk Field Tech - Flutter Android App

FieldDesk Field Tech is a Flutter Android app for field technicians. Enter a company server URL and firm code, sign in, then manage assigned jobs from a phone, tablet, or Chrome.

A ready APK is in the zip root (next to SETUP.bat). First screens are pre-filled so you can review the app immediately.

How to run

1. Extract the zip. Keep SETUP.bat, lib, and the APK together.
2. Install the APK, or run SETUP.bat then option 1 and option 2 (Chrome).
3. Leave the pre-filled server URL and firm code, then sign in.

This app talks to a FieldDesk Suite Laravel API (/api/fieldapp/v1 https://fielddesksuite.great-site.net/admin/documentation#api-overview). It is not a PHP backend. The live demo above is for testing. For production, point the first screen at your own API URL.

White-label ready: app name, package id, icon, and brand color. Replace debug signing before Play Store.

Requirements

• Flutter SDK 3.2 or newer (tested on Flutter 3.47 stable)
• Dart SDK (bundled with Flutter)
• Chrome — optional, for desktop preview without a phone
• Android Studio + JDK 17 — only if you want to compile APK / Play Store AAB
• Android phone or emulator, Android 7.0+ (API 24)
• A FieldDesk Suite Laravel API at /api/fieldapp/v1 (live demo is pre-filled for review)
• Flutter on PATH, then open a new terminal / SETUP.bat after install

Instructions

Fastest review (no Android Studio)

1. Extract the zip. You will see SETUP.bat and FieldDesk-Tech-v1.0.0.apk in the same folder.
2. Install the APK on a phone, or double-click SETUP.bat → option 1 then option 2 (Chrome).
3. Leave the pre-filled server URL and firm code. Tap Continue.
4. Sign in with the pre-filled demo user.

flutter pub get
