FacetCore - WooCommerce Product Finder

FacetCore is a high-performance product discovery and faceted filtering plugin built specifically for WooCommerce stores with large, structured, technical, or B2B catalogs.

Instead of relying only on standard WooCommerce catalog queries, FacetCore maintains a dedicated product index designed for fast product discovery.

Customers can progressively narrow products using WooCommerce global attributes, combine filters with product name or SKU search, and view matching results in either Table or Grid layouts.

FacetCore is especially suitable for stores where customers choose products by specifications such as brand, capacity, size, material, speed, processor, memory type, form factor, or other structured attributes.

The same filtered result set powers both Table and Grid views, so visitors can switch layouts without losing their active filters or search query.

FacetCore supports multiple independent Finders. Each Finder can define its own product source, filters, result layout, columns, pagination, and search behavior.

The plugin has been tested with a 50,000-product WooCommerce catalog.

Version 1.0 supports up to 10 configured facets per Finder and one selected value per facet.

FacetCore uses native WooCommerce products, categories, global attributes, prices, stock status, and product URLs. WooCommerce remains the source of truth for product data.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.5 or newer • WooCommerce 9.0 or newer • PHP 7.4 or newer • WooCommerce global attributes configured for products you want to use as facets

Instructions

1. Install and activate WooCommerce. 2. Upload and activate the FacetCore plugin. 3. Open FacetCore in the WordPress administration area. 4. Create a new Finder. 5. Select the product source or category. 6. Choose the WooCommerce global attributes to use as filters. 7. Configure search, result layout, columns and pagination. 8. Rebuild the FacetCore product index. 9. Copy the generated shortcode, for example: 10. Insert the shortcode into any WordPress page or post.
