EvenShare - Split and Settle Bills App

Description

Let your app's users split any bill, trip, or shared cost evenly between friends, family, or roommates — and know exactly who still owes what. EvenShare gives you a ready-to-build React Native + Expo template with a real two-step settlement flow: participants mark their own share paid, and the organizer confirms it's actually been received, so nothing gets marked "done" on trust alone.

Built with Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Row Level Security) and Expo Router, EvenShare includes full authentication, a drawer-navigation UI, an "action needed" indicator system so nobody has to hunt for what's outstanding, and a clean, themeable design — ready to rebrand and ship as your own expense-splitting app, or extend into a bigger finance tool.

Features

- Two-step settlement ledger: pending → paid → confirmed, with separate participant and organizer permissions at each step - Full authentication flow (sign up, sign in, complete-profile safety net) - Supabase Postgres backend with Row Level Security policies enforced at the database level, not just hidden UI - Drawer navigation built with Expo Router - "Action needed" indicators at both the list and detail level, for organizers and participants - Even-split bill creation with participant lookup by email - Organizer profile with live stats (pots organized, pots joined, join date) - Fully themeable design system (colors, spacing, typography tokens) - Cross-platform alert handling (native + web) - Works on iOS, Android, and web (Expo web export included)

  • Node.js 20.19.4 or newer and npm for Expo SDK 54.
