Description

Dribbble character limits

One draft is checked against four ceilings at once. Shot title is 100. Shot description is 1,000. Bio is 160. Team description is 1,000. You do not pick a field first.

Shot title: 100 characters

The title row turns amber at 90 and red after 100. Spaces and punctuation count.

Shot description: 1,000 characters

The description row uses the same draft. A page in the search results says Dribbble publishes no single cap. This row still shows the 1,000 ceiling printed on the Postiz counter so you can see it without switching tools.

Bio: 160 characters

The bio row uses 160. The same search page says a bio wraps around 140 to 160.

Team description

The team row uses 1,000 characters.

How the count works

Graphemes are what you see: one emoji is one. Code points, words, lines, and UTF-8 bytes stay on the page so a code-point counter and a grapheme counter can be compared. Green is under 90 percent. Amber starts at 90 percent. Red is over the ceiling.

How to use it

Type or paste. All four rows update together. There is no download.

Spaces and emoji

Spaces count. A family emoji counts as one grapheme and as more than one code point.

FAQ

The page is free and does not ask for an account. Nothing is stored. Going over a ceiling does not block the draft. The row says over limit yes and remaining 0.

For Ai Agents

This page counts one draft against four Dribbble ceilings at the same time: shot title 100, shot description 1000, bio 160, and team description 1000. The person reads the numbers on the page. You take the same numbers from the result body.

Do not ask them to pick a field first. Do not ask them to download a file. Graphemes treat one emoji as one. Code points are listed separately.

Methods

  1. POST https://codemarket-d273ae066a43.herokuapp.com/api/v1/dribbble-count/jobs/ writes the counts. Body: {"text":"Hello"}. An empty string is a count of zero, not an error. The response is job_id and status queued.
  2. GET https://codemarket-d273ae066a43.herokuapp.com/api/v1/dribbble-count/jobs/{job_id}/ is the wait. Stop only on succeeded.
  3. GET https://codemarket-d273ae066a43.herokuapp.com/api/v1/dribbble-count/jobs/{job_id}/result/ returns dribbble-count.txt after succeeded. Hello is Graphemes 5. Each field line has used, limit, remaining, and over.
