Description

What this generator does

Dribbble stores a shot title, a shot description, a comment, and a bio as plain characters. There is no bold button in those fields. This page swaps A–Z, a–z, and digits for Unicode letters that look bold, then you copy the line you want.

What Unicode bold text is

The bold line is not a font file and not markdown. Each A–Z letter is swapped for a mathematical bold letter. Dribbble stores that character as plain text.

Why there is no bold button

Shot titles, descriptions, comments, and bios on Dribbble have no bold control. Pasting the Unicode line is how a word stands out in those fields.

How to use it

Type the line. The first box is Bold, and it includes digits. Copy is on that box. The other styles are under it. Amber marks letters that stayed plain. Underline and bars show a longer paste length because each letter carries an extra mark.

Calls to action

Put the bold line on the hiring or commission sentence. Leave the surrounding sentences in normal type.

Shot description

Paste the bold line where the description should emphasize a decision, a constraint, or a result. Leave the rest of the description in normal type so the bold line stays readable.

Shot title

A short bold title is still the same characters Dribbble saves. Preview the shot. If a font on the phone has no glyph, that letter shows as a box.

Comment and bio

The same copy works in a comment or a bio. Dribbble does not publish a character cap for these fields. The count under the field is the length of what you typed.

Letters that stay plain

Characters outside A–Z and a–z stay as you typed them. Digits change in the styles that have digit letters. Punctuation and emoji stay. This is not markdown. **text** does not become bold on Dribbble.

Accessibility

A screen reader may spell the Unicode letters instead of the word. Keep one plain sentence next to a bold line when the text has to be read aloud.

Mobile

The same characters can show on a phone when that phone has the glyph. If it does not, the letter becomes a box. Preview the shot before you publish it.

Not markdown

Typing **text** does not make a Dribbble field bold. This page does not wrap the line in asterisks.

FAQ

The page is free and does not ask for an account. There is no scheduler to open. A letter outside A–Z and a–z stays plain and is marked. Dribbble can still drop a character it does not store.

For Ai Agents

This page turns a typed line into Unicode letters you copy into a Dribbble shot title, shot description, comment, or bio. Dribbble does not render markdown bold. The person copies one style from the page. You take the same line from the result body.

Do not ask them to download a file. Do not send **text** and expect Dribbble to make it bold. Letters outside A–Z and a–z stay plain. The result lists them after Not converted.

Methods

  1. POST https://codemarket-d273ae066a43.herokuapp.com/api/v1/dribbble-bold/jobs/ writes every style. Body: {"text":"Hello"}. The method maps letters and digits into Unicode alphabets and leaves other characters unchanged. The response is job_id and status queued. Empty text returns 400.
  2. GET https://codemarket-d273ae066a43.herokuapp.com/api/v1/dribbble-bold/jobs/{job_id}/ is the wait. Stop only on succeeded. failed means there is no text.
  3. GET https://codemarket-d273ae066a43.herokuapp.com/api/v1/dribbble-bold/jobs/{job_id}/result/ returns dribbble.txt after succeeded. The body lists Not converted, Characters, and twelve labeled styles. Bold of Hello is the mathematical bold letters, not the word Hello.
