DigiShop - Digital Downloads Store PHP

DigiShop is a ready-to-launch store for selling digital products. Upload a file, set a price, and your customer pays and downloads it in seconds. The file itself is never exposed: every download runs through a tokenised script that checks ownership, an expiry date and a download counter.

It is written in plain PHP with PDO — no Composer, no framework, no build tools. Upload it to ordinary shared hosting, run the web installer, and you are selling. Nothing to compile, nothing to learn.

What you can sell with it: PHP scripts, WordPress themes and plugins, ebooks and PDFs, music and sound effects, Lightroom presets, graphics, fonts, video templates, course material — anything that ships as a file.

Built in two languages. English and Arabic ship with the script and the layout switches to RTL automatically. Adding a language is one file: copy lang/en.php, translate the values, and it appears in the switcher by itself. Missing keys fall back to English, so a partial translation never breaks a page.

Security taken seriously. PDO prepared statements everywhere, output escaped through a single helper, a CSRF token on every POST form, bcrypt password hashing with session regeneration, and PHP execution disabled inside the upload folder.

Single-domain license. One purchase covers one live domain. Development copies on localhost, .test, .local and private IPs are free and unlimited. Moving to another domain is free — just ask.

Full commented source code. No encryption, no ionCube. 6 months of author support and free 1.x updates.

Requirements

- PHP 7.4 to 8.4 (tested up to 8.4) - MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+ - PHP extensions: pdo_mysql, curl, mbstring, openssl, zip (optional: gd) - Apache with mod_rewrite, or Nginx - Works on ordinary shared hosting — no SSH, no Composer, no Node.js - A PayPal and/or Stripe account if you want automatic payments (manual approval works without either)

Instructions

1. Upload the contents of the ZIP to your web root (public_html / htdocs). 2. Create an empty MySQL database and a user with full rights on it. 3. Open config/config.php and fill in DB_HOST, DB_NAME, DB_USER and DB_PASS. 4. Open https://your-domain.com/instal... in a browser, enter your admin name, e-mail and password, and optionally tick "install demo content". 5. Delete the install/ folder when the installer says it is finished. 6. Send me the domain you installed on; I e-mail you your license key and activation code. Paste it in Admin -> License -> Offline activation. 7. Add your PayPal / Stripe keys in config/config.php, and set PAYPAL_SANDBOX to false when you go live. 8. Add categories, then products (cover image + the file customers will download), and you are open for business.
