This custom-built Direct Booking Engine and Property Management System is designed to help independent boutique hotels, villas, and homestays secure reservations without losing revenue to third-party OTA (Online Travel Agency) commissions. Built as a lightweight, standalone web application, it provides a frictionless booking experience for guests and a powerful operational dashboard for staff, all without the burden of ongoing software subscription fees.

• Smart Auto-Fill Lookup: Returning guests are instantly recognized via AJAX technology. By simply entering their phone number or NIC, their profile details automatically populate, significantly speeding up the checkout process.

Staff & Admin Dashboard

• Centralized Reservation Hub: Staff can view, approve, update, and manage all incoming bookings in real time.

Technical Architecture & Delivery

• Tech Stack: Developed using vanilla PHP, PDO Prepared Statements for robust SQL injection protection, MySQL for database management, and Tailwind CSS for rapid, responsive styling.
• One-Time Deployment Model: Designed as a turnkey solution. The system is customized with the property’s specific branding, logos, and room imagery, then deployed directly to their independent web hosting environment (e.g., Hostinger, Namecheap).
