ClipOrder Studio Pro - Video Workflow Dashboard

ClipOrder Studio Pro is a lightweight order workflow dashboard built for freelance video editors, CapCut creators, TikTok/Reels/Shorts editors, and small content studios.

It helps users manage client requests, video editing orders, deadlines, payments, revisions, invoice messages, and production status in one simple workspace. Instead of using scattered chats, notes, or spreadsheets, creators can keep their editing workflow organized from client intake to final delivery.

The app includes a public client request form where clients can submit project details, contact information, asset links, platform, format, deadline, priority, and brief notes. New requests are added as lead orders inside the dashboard.

The dashboard includes a production board for tracking orders through workflow stages, invoice preview tools, payment balance tracking, revision tracking, task checklist, client summary, CSV export, JSON backup/import, template planning, and dark/light mode.

On desktop, the production board supports drag-and-drop workflow movement. On mobile, the layout is optimized for scrolling and uses Move next / Move back controls so the experience stays comfortable on small screens.

ClipOrder Studio Pro is built with Node.js, HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. It does not require a database server, build process, or native dependencies. Data is stored in a local JSON file, making it simple to run, backup, move, and customize.

Instructions

Installation Instructions:

1. Download and extract the ZIP file.

2. Open the project folder in your terminal.

3. Start the app with:

npm start

4. Open the local URL in your browser:

http://127.0.0.1:8789

5. Open the client intake form:

http://127.0.0.1:8789/request

6. To run the smoke test, use:

npm test

7. To use public/VPS mode, run:

PUBLIC_MODE=1 HOST=0.0.0.0 ADMIN_PASSWORD='your-long-password' npm start

8. If using HTTPS on a public domain, enable secure cookies:

PUBLIC_MODE=1 HOST=0.0.0.0 ADMIN_PASSWORD='your-long-password' COOKIE_SECURE=1 npm start

9. The app stores data in the data folder as a JSON file.

10. You can edit the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files to customize the design, text, workflow, and business logic.
