Note. Visual Composer grows independently of the theme and sometimes it delivers non-compatible changes. That's why for this reason after you update the theme and plugin you have to pass through all your pages and see if there any inconsistencies with paddings. In this case you have to edit that page's Visual Composer settings and set rows paddings to 0. 
Note. To update Visual Composer, deactivate and delete it first. After that the theme will offer you to install a new version right from Admin area. New version of Visual Composer is included to the theme update.
