Askwyn is a self-hosted AI sales and support agent SaaS. Give it the pages, documents and written answers behind a business. Embed the agent on a website. Help visitors find answers, discover products, book meetings and reach a person when they need one.

Built for agencies creating a service for their clients, founders launching a branded platform, and businesses bringing AI and human support together. Your customers get their own workspace. You manage the brand, subscription plans, credits and providers.

Included: the AI agent and widget, knowledge sources, human inbox, leads, bookings, custom HTTP tools, the teach loop, analytics, tenant billing and super-admin controls. Full editable TypeScript source and a bundled buyer manual.

Before you start: this is software to install on your own Linux VPS. Hosting, AI provider usage, email and other third-party services are paid separately. Your purchase is governed by Codester licence terms.

01. Start with what the business already knows

Bring the information together before a visitor asks for it. Askwyn combines keyword and vector retrieval so an agent can find exact terms and related meaning in your content.

Response speed, answer quality and supported answer languages depend on your chosen provider, model, indexed content and infrastructure.

Let AI help with recurring questions. Give your team a real inbox for the moments that need judgment, reassurance or a little extra care.

03. Make the next step easy

A useful conversation can do more than answer a question. Give visitors a way to leave their details, find the right product, reserve time or complete an action through your own API.

A small invitation on any website

Add one script tag, choose the widget colors, launcher, avatar and position, and preview the result. The approximately 5 KB gzipped loader loads the chat core on demand. Shadow DOM isolates the widget styling from the host website. Domain allow-lists control where it can appear.

A shareable chat page, WordPress plugin and Shopify theme embed are included. The Shopify embed is not native catalogue synchronization. WhatsApp and other social channels, voice calling and a public help-center site are planned extensions and are not included in this release.

04. Let the questions show you what to improve

Repeated unanswered questions reveal the information your visitors need. Askwyn groups them by meaning so your team can work through the gaps, write an answer and publish it into the agent's knowledge.

Use conversation, resolution and lead analytics alongside source performance, top questions and the weekly report to understand where the agent helps and where the knowledge needs attention. Dashboard figures in the screenshots are fictional seeded data, not customer results or performance guarantees.

05. Turn a useful product into your own offer

Askwyn includes both sides of the business: customer workspaces for the teams using your agents, and a dedicated super-admin panel for the team running the platform.

The 26-language count refers to the dashboard interface, including right-to-left layouts. The agent's answer languages depend on the AI model. Currency configuration supports 160+ currencies; actual charging options depend on the selected gateway.

06. Connect the services you choose

AI: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini and compatible endpoints. Configure an answer model and a supported embedding model; providers differ in their capabilities. Choose platform keys or enable customers to bring their own keys.

Payments: Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Paystack, Flutterwave, Mercado Pago, PayU India, Cashfree, PhonePe, Paytm, Mollie and Paddle. Manual bank transfer with proof approval and an offline testing driver are also included. Provider eligibility, currencies and recurring billing support vary.

Business tools: native HubSpot, GoHighLevel and Slack connectors; Cal.com and Google Calendar booking. Connect Zapier, Make and n8n through the documented REST API and signed outgoing webhooks with retries. These automation services are API/webhook connections, not additional native connectors.

Server and deployment

Install on your own Linux VPS using Docker or PM2. Minimum: 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 40 GB SSD. Recommended: 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 80 GB SSD. See Requirements below.

The Vercel demo is a read-only demonstration build with recorded fixtures. It does not mean the full buyer application can run entirely on Vercel.

The Codester edition

This source edition has no activation key, remote licence verification or domain lock. Its installer goes directly from administrator setup to installation. Updates come from Codester Downloads and use the included backup, migration and rebuild instructions.

The public demo shows the shared Askwyn interface. The Codester download omits the licence screen and uses manual Codester updates.

Your purchase follows Codester's Regular or Extended licence terms. Third-party components retain their licences. Six months of author support covers documented installation, features and defects through Codester. Hosting, provider charges, server administration and custom development are separate.

Initial release: knowledge-grounded streaming agents, citations, embeddable chat, human takeover, leads, bookings, custom actions, products, triggers, the teach loop, analytics and multi-tenant SaaS administration.

Requirements

• Linux VPS: 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 40 GB SSD minimum; 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 80 GB SSD recommended. Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 recommended. Shared hosting is not supported.
• Domain and HTTPS, with WebSockets and unbuffered streaming supported by the reverse proxy.
• Docker Engine 24+ and Compose v2.24+ recommended; alternatively Node.js 22, pnpm 10, PostgreSQL 16 with pgvector, Redis 7, PM2 and Nginx.
• Your own AI and embedding-provider accounts, email delivery service and optional payment gateway accounts.
• Add 2 GB RAM for the optional JavaScript-site renderer. Local or S3-compatible storage.
• Basic Linux administration skills. Hosting and third-party usage charges are separate.

Instructions

1. Extract the Codester download and open documentation/index.html for the bundled manual.
2. Prepare your Linux VPS, DNS and HTTPS. Follow the Docker or PM2 installation guide.
3. Configure the supplied environment template and start the services.
4. Use the local install token to finish the web installer and create the platform administrator. No purchase-code activation is required.
5. Configure AI, embeddings and email providers. Add payment gateways and subscription plans for a SaaS.
6. Create a workspace and agent; connect website content, documents or written answers.
7. Test answers and citations, configure human handoff and customise the widget.
8. Publish and embed the widget on an allowed website domain. Use the manual for backups and future Codester updates.
