Appointmentify - Appointment Booking System

Appointmentify is a complete online appointment booking system for clinics, salons, consultants, wellness studios, and other service businesses.

Customers book from a public website: choose a category, service, staff member, date, and time slot, then confirm with Stripe, PayPal, or pay later. Admins, staff, and customers each get a dashboard for day-to-day work.

The stack is a Laravel REST API with Sanctum authentication and a Quasar (Vue 3) frontend. Buyers can install on shared hosting with the browser installer at /install. Composer, Node.js, SSH, and phpMyAdmin SQL import are not required when you use the included vendor folder and pre-built frontend.

Demo logins are listed in the Instructions field and in the package documentation. Change all passwords after install. Hosting, domains, and paid third-party accounts (Stripe, PayPal, SMTP) are not included.

Requirements

Shared hosting (recommended)

• PHP 8.2 or higher
• MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB
• Apache with mod_rewrite (typical cPanel hosting)
• Writable storage and bootstrap/cache folders
• PHP extensions: openssl, pdo, pdo_mysql, mbstring, tokenizer, ctype, json, fileinfo, curl, and gd or imagick

Composer and Node.js are not required on the server when you use the included vendor folder and the pre-built frontend.

Optional (local development / rebuilds)

• Composer 2+
• Node.js 18+ and npm

• Stripe keys for card payments
• PayPal credentials for PayPal checkout

Instructions

Full steps are in documentation/index.html inside the package. Shared hosting summary:

1. Upload appointmentify_api next to public_html (keep vendor and database/appointmentify.sql).
2. Create an empty MySQL database and user with all privileges.
3. Copy everything from appointmentify_api/public into public_html/api.
4. Copy the uploads folder from appointmentify_api/public into public_html.
5. Upload the pre-built frontend from dist/spa into public_html. Do not overwrite api or uploads.
6. Set storage and bootstrap/cache to 755 or 775.
7. Confirm https://yourdomain.com/api/setup-install.php?action=status returns JSON.
8. Open https://yourdomain.com/install, enter the API URL, frontend URL, and database details, then click Install now.
9. Log in, change demo passwords, then add services, staff, hours, and payment keys.
