Each tier is controlled by 14 feature gates you can customize.

Can members join for free?

Yes. The Free tier lets anyone register and start browsing profiles, sending winks, and using basic search. Free members see enough value to want to upgrade to Gold or VIP for messaging and advanced features.

What payment gateways are supported?

Both Stripe and PayPal are built in — no WooCommerce needed. Stripe handles credit card payments via Stripe Checkout. PayPal uses IPN webhooks for automatic payment processing. Both support sandbox/test mode for development.

How does messaging work?

Members send private messages through a built-in inbox with threaded conversations. Messaging is gated by membership tier — Free members can send winks, while Gold and VIP members can send full messages. VIP members also get read receipts so they can see when messages are opened.

How do I moderate profiles?

Enable "Require Approval" in Settings, and new profiles go to a Pending Approval queue in the admin panel. You can also require a profile photo before registration is complete. Members can report other profiles, and you review reports from the admin dashboard.

What does the sample data include?

Can I customize which features each tier gets?

Yes. The theme uses a feature-gating system with 14 individual features (browse_profiles, send_message, advanced_search, photo_gallery, verified_badge, incognito_mode, etc.). You control exactly which features are available at each membership level through the membership packages.

What is incognito mode?

Incognito mode is a VIP-only feature that lets members browse profiles without appearing in other members' "profile views" list. It's a premium perk that gives VIP members more privacy and control over their visibility on the platform.

Is it translation-ready?

Yes. All strings use WordPress i18n functions with the 'ajd-dating' text domain. You can translate every string using any standard WordPress translation plugin.
