Free URL to IP Lookup - Find the IP Address of Any Website (IPv4, IPv6, Bulk)

Description

What it does: a visitor pastes one website, a full link, a domain, or a list of up to 20 (one per line), and sees every IPv4 (A) and IPv6 (AAAA) address each one points to, with the CNAME chain that leads there and the TTL of every record. Every answer names the DNS resolver that gave it: Cloudflare DNS, Google DNS, or both side by side, with a note for each website whose answers differ. When an address is in the published IP ranges of Cloudflare, Fastly, Amazon CloudFront, or GitHub Pages, or a CNAME points to a known CDN or platform (Akamai, Azure Front Door, Vercel, Netlify, Heroku, Shopify, and more), the row says so and how it knows, and a note explains that these are the CDN's servers, not the site's own. Names that do not exist, sites without IPv6, CNAMEs that lead nowhere, failed lookups, and private addresses each get their own plain row instead of failing the whole run. The IP list and hosts file lines can be copied or downloaded, and the whole table saved as CSV.

It is honest about what it is: the DNS answer, as the chosen resolver gives it from where the tool runs. It does not guess a location or a hosting company from IP databases, never connects to the websites, scans no ports, and does not try to uncover a server hidden behind a CDN.

Who it is for: developers and sysadmins checking where a domain points after a DNS change or a migration, comparing resolvers, or building an allow-list, SEO specialists checking which sites share a server or a CDN, anyone who wants to know whether a site is behind Cloudflare or another CDN. And site owners who want their own free URL to IP page.

What you get: the complete tool as one Cloudflare Worker for your own account and domain: the page, a JSON API with the full table, and a plain-text API that answers the IP list, with no database, no API key, no dependencies, the Cloudflare free plan is enough. Settings (name, color, sub-path, limits, resolver) are in one config file, every text and the list of CDN ranges and names are in one file, with their sources so you can refresh them. Tests and HTML documentation included.

What you do: run npx wrangler deploy, or try it first with npx wrangler dev. Then share the page (links with ?input= run a lookup at once) or call api/run?input=example.com&format=text from your scripts.

Features

  • IPv4 (A) and IPv6 (AAAA) addresses of any website, link, or domain, with the TTL of every record
  • Bulk: up to 20 websites per run, one per line, full links, subdomains, international names, and duplicates handled
  • The CNAME chain in order, alias by alias (switch it off for addresses only)
  • Choose the resolver: Cloudflare DNS, Google DNS, or compare both with a note where they disagree
  • CDN and platform hints from lists the providers publish: Cloudflare, Fastly, Amazon CloudFront, GitHub Pages by IP range, Akamai, Azure, Vercel, Netlify, Heroku, Shopify, and others by CNAME
  • A plain row for every outcome: not found (NXDOMAIN), no IPv6, a CNAME to nowhere, a failed lookup, a private or reserved address
  • IP addresses typed in are shown with their network hint, without a lookup
  • Copy or download the unique IP list and hosts file lines, download the table as CSV (safe from spreadsheet formulas)
  • Counts at a glance: websites, IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, behind a CDN, not found, lookup time
  • DNS only: never opens the websites, no port scans, nothing stored, a per-visitor limit and a cap per run
  • Shareable links with ?input=, a JSON and plain-text API, works on phones, with the keyboard (Ctrl+Enter), and inside a frame
